Be sure you leave room in the trunk to pack your golf clubs. The Twin-Lakes area is home to three golf courses including Big Creek – consistently voted one of the top courses in Arkansas by industry publications.

If playing in the water is more your speed there are a variety of local outfitters that offer canoeing/floating on the Buffalo River and the North Fork of the White River.

The Mountain Home area will have a new night-life venue open in 2012. Simple Man’s
Country/Western Club is slated for grand opening in February and will offer dining, dancing, Karaoke and live music different nights of the week. Must be 21 to enter.
